How Do You Treat People? [Walks With Dave #21]

by Dave Charest

It amazes me how many businesses don’t take responsibility for their mistakes.

And after this episode in the theater world unfolded online, it seems this lack of judgement is not restricted to business alone. Of course, most of the time there’s a chance to make it right. And I find myself disappointed again.

What’s wrong? Doesn’t anyone take responsibility any more?

Funny, I made this episode before learning of the events above. So I guess it’s not only in NY.

What do think? Have I lost my mind?

Hey Dave -
This is totally true. It matters. But how do you get people to change? It isn’t easy. Still – when you find someone with integrity, it is smart to use their services.

Hi Elyn,

I’m a huge stickler for never going to places again if they don’t do the right thing. That’s the only way I can think of getting people to understand there’s a problem. If enough people refuse them business maybe that’ll spur some change.

It’s such a great thing to find places that really do know how to treat people though.

Thanks for stopping by!
