Sometimes social media can cause a huge amount of pressure.
Pressure to always be ‘on.’ To always be witty.
But is that really necessary? In this Walks With Dave, I discuss how a secret Improv technique can help you find your social media voice.

Oh, and that Halloween show I mention is Halloween At Belvedere : A Monster Musical Adventure. It’s free on October 30th in NY’s Central Park at Belvedere Castle. More info here at the Facebook page.
People always ask how I shoot these videos. I use the Flip Mino HD Camcorder, 60 minutes – Amazon Affiliate link. There’s a newer version available also. I also use the Pocket xShot to hold the camera.

Great stuff ya scruffy lookin’ nerfherder 🙂
Just being real and just being you is some of the best advice anyone new to social media can get.
Let your voice be anything but the real you, in time you will be found out. Imitation is not always the best form of flattery.
Thanks Dave for being real.

Frank,
Thanks as always for stopping by.
Your comment on imitation got me thinking. Sometimes that’s where we have to start. Not everyone but some.
At least until your comfortable in your own skin. But whatever the case it’s at least important to be truthful. Lies and dishonesty will for sure catch up to you.
