So you want to start using some video on the ol’ internets eh?
If you’ve been following along at home you’re probably familiar with my Walks With Dave video series.
Up until recently, I’ve been using a Flip Cam to record them. (Now I’m using the iPhone 4.)
Whatever device you use you’ll probably want to edit your videos at some point. And that’s exactly where I can’t help you. 🙂
But I know someone who can…
It’s true. I normally don’t do much editing. Mainly because editing started to become an excuse for me NOT to post something. I finally made a decision to edit only if absolutely necessary. Otherwise it would be one take and go. It’s worked for me. But I understand you may actually want to now how to do some of the simple editing.
So that’s why I point you toward this post by Rebecca Coleman. She put together a list of her top posts regarding YouTube and the Flip Cam. So if you’re looking for help that’s a great place to start.

Thanks DL. I should mention that even though I’m not editing, I DO look for the areas I can improve from video to video.

Sweet! Can I put that on my resume?
Dave Charest says
I have no idea why you wouldn’t. 😉
